While making backup with onboard tool of openerp 7 on ubuntu 12.04 server process uses much time and isn't successful.

Can you share the Hardware numbers of your server, and size of your db?

Processor information Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2680 v2 @ 2.80GHz, 2 cores

CPU usage 0% user, 0% kernel, 0% IO, 100% idle
Real memory 230.17 MB used, 6 GB total

Hello Erik. Did you find a solution to this problem? I am currently getting the same error on a custom module. I was thinking it could be something in the config, like a parameter, limit_memory_hard or soft. But even after increasing this, the error gets thrown.

No i didn't, but i switched to ubuntu 14.04 several month ago.. and erros doesn't come up again
