REAMCO

REAMCO is an Eaton-authorized OEM based in Childersburg, Alabama, designing and manufacturing custom power distribution systems, switchgear, and motor starters for heavy industrial operations across the Southeast. Working with names like Nucor, U.S. Steel, and Alabama Power, they run design, fabrication, and field commissioning out of a 40,000 square foot facility, which means the people building the equipment are the same people standing behind it in the field.

Before Odoo, REAMCO was running on an old legacy ERP, so basic things like receiving goods against a purchase order were more of a workaround than a process. BlackIron Group came in with 20 years of manufacturing experience, and that showed in how the project was built. BlackIron has a CPA on staff who made sure accounting was treated as phase one instead of the afterthought.  The team delivered Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, and Manufacturing on schedule, giving REAMCO warehouse locations, receiving, and a shop floor that tracks work as it happens instead of after the fact. REAMCO is now running on a system built to grow with them instead of one that was holding them back.
