Founded in 1982 in Saida, Lebanon, Kamaplast is a leading plastic manufacturer known for producing a wide range of plastic products under its renowned motto, “Sign of Quality.” Kamaplast initially relied on a basic accounting software that lacked support for multi-branch, warehouse, and manufacturing operations. The absence of an integrated system led to excessive manual work, inefficiencies, and difficulties in managing the growing demand for their products. To overcome these challenges, Kamaplast partnered with Azkatech, an Odoo Gold Partner, to implement a customized Odoo Manufacturing solution. The new system enabled Kamaplast to enhance its accounting operations to international standards while maintaining Lebanese-specific practices such as multi-currency handling, manual exchange rates, and post dated checks. Odoo’s Inventory, Production, and Barcode modules provided accurate stock management, while the manufacturing solution improved cost calculations by factoring in product recycling and reprocessing. With this transformation, Kamaplast successfully streamlined its operations, increased efficiency, and strengthened its ability to scale in a competitive market.
