In recent years, wellness has become a top priority for more and more individuals. In addition to eating healthy diets, many people have turned to supplements to ensure they are ingesting all of the necessary nutrients, vitamins, and minerals for a well-rounded life. As a result, many companies have made it their mission to provide consumers with high-quality, trusted products to meet this demand. All-In Nutritionals is one of these companies.

All-In Nutritionals, based in Springfield, Ohio, was founded in April 2021 by CEO and Head Formulator Lindsey Duncan, a certified nutritionist who has been in the Wellness and Nutrition industry for about 40 years. In the 1990s, he started a company called Nature’s Secret, followed by a company called Genesis Today in the early 2000s, and another company in 2007 called Genesis Pure. After many years as a successful businessman, Lindsey decided to take a step back from the corporate world and focus on himself and his family. He was happily enjoying retirement until, in 2020, Lindsey and his wife went through a traumatizing experience. This life-changing event put everything in perspective for Lindsey, reinvigorating his passion for helping people on their journeys of wellness. This turning point led to the founding of All-In Nutritionals.

Today, the company manufactures and sells supplements, healthy foods and beverages, and health accessories. It also provides contract manufacturing for other companies and functional medicine physicians. The company proudly does every step of the process in-house, from research and development to sourcing, testing, production and packaging, and eCommerce. With a very personal and important mission at its core, All-In Nutritionals needed business software to support its journey of changing the lives of its customers through carefully and thoughtfully formulated products. Odoo, it turns out, was that software.

Supplemental struggles: A disconnected past before Odoo


When All-In Nutritionals first started, they hired someone to do a website build-out for them. What initially started as a hopeful prospect ended up being a tremendous pain point for the company. Ellie Flores, Manager of Domestic and International Sales, says that this website build was extremely inflexible:

“We weren’t able to make changes or get things to work the way we wanted them to work.”

She goes on to explain that the rest of the company’s business operations were managed by various disconnected, manual processes, including an internal bookkeeper who did the company’s accounting. Ellie says that All-In Nutritionals’ original method was simply unsustainable. Having launched a first round of products in Fall 2021, the company started to feel customer demand with the first one or two products, and, even then, the website couldn’t handle it. 

All-In Nutritionals began to explore alternative options, including Quickbooks and Salesforce in addition to Odoo. Initially, they were simply looking for a new website-hosting platform, but through research, they realized the benefit that an ERP would have for the company. Ellie explains that, in reality, they needed software that allowed them to manage all areas of business– from customer service and eCommerce to manufacturing, to inventory and purchasing, to accounting and finances. In all of these regards, Odoo stood out amongst the competition.

“Odoo seemed to be the most cost-effective and the most capable across the board. We felt after some research and demo calls that it had many more capabilities at a much better price point than most of the others that were available.”

As a new company, All-In Nutritionals had to choose software that would not only support its current needs but also the many years of business ahead. With this in mind, the company decided to go with Odoo and officially went live with the software in mid-2022.

A healthy dose of efficiency

Ellie admits that All-In Nutritionals’ implementation process was challenging and, at times, “up and down”. She notes that it took the team a while to understand how Odoo worked. However, the company ended up in a good place at the end of the transition, thanks to a few great implementation specialists. 

One of Ellie’s favorite parts of Odoo since the company went live almost three years ago is the multi-company function. All-In Nutritionals has a few sister companies, and the ability to manage these businesses and the tasks that go along with them all within the same platform has been huge. Ellie specifically loves the ability to seamlessly toggle between companies in Odoo. 

One of these sister companies hosts seminars and live events related to the wellness and nutrition industry, and Ellie says that Odoo has been especially helpful for this venture. Using Odoo’s eLearning module, they easily created an online course.

Overall, Odoo’s comprehensive nature has made a tremendous impact on All-In Nutritionals’ efficiency on a daily basis, especially when it comes to the back end of the business, including accounting and tracking finances. Ellie speaks to the importance of this integration:

“The full connectivity of everything…being able to have all of the purchase order tracking live, and matching and reconciling with the banking side of things. Money coming in, money going out. Bringing the sales in from eCommerce… the fact that all those capabilities exist in Odoo helps with the business flow day-to-day.”
