A highly technical sales engineer role for smart people who like software and can easily learn different management practices and industries. You will be in charge of mapping clients' business processes to Odoo's all-in-one business application platform. The position is also responsible for overall growth by those products through execution of the product development process. The role focuses on Latin America, requires full Spanish fluency and encompasses opportunity qualification, negotiation, business needs analysis and executing live product demos.
Responsibilities
Conferring with customers on system architecture basis to assess software needs and system requirements for ongoing and proposed projects and to prepare project specifications
Serve as the subject matter expert in customer applications with an ability to communicate how our products can satisfy customer requirements;
Latin American territories
Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers that explain equipment and proposed technical solutions;
Help customers diagnose and solve technical problems with equipment;
Develop and maintain a product development plan that enables leaders to share in the vision for product growth strategy in Latin America
Understand customer technical requirements to drive them to appropriate Odoo technical products and drive strategic growth opportunities in Latin America
Consult with functional consultants at Odoo regarding all technical facets of project deliverables, including installation and testing activities, to ensure compliance with customer requirements, as well as project schedules to ensure performance deadlines and expectations are met on budget
Perform strategic financial review for sales, gross profit, and quote (win/loss) trends
Develop related training and technical documentation for products.
