In this course, you'll learn how to work with Leads using Odoo.

A lead stage is an additional stage before becoming an opportunity. It’s a feature that lets you distinguish qualified opportunities —like people who contact your company directly and ask for a quote— from those who might potentially be interested in your business, such as people who visit your website, follow you on social media, or subscribe to your newsletter.


Once their interest grows enough, they are assigned to the appropriate teams and salespersons, who convert them into opportunities and send them into the sales pipeline.

1. How do I enable Leads in Odoo CRM?
Leads are automatically enabled in the CRM app. CRM > Sales > Leads tab > Click ‘Enable’ CRM > Configuration > Settings > Leads > Tick Checkbox CRM > Configuration > Settings > Turn on Developer Mode > Download Leads.py > Install on your computer
2. What are the two ways that a Lead probability is assigned?
Manually by the salesperson, or through Odoo’s historical data. Manually by the salesperson, or by the customer’s rating. Manually by the salesperson, or psychically. It is not possible to assign a probability to a Lead.
3. What is absolutely required to save a lead in Odoo CRM?
