Hello.

We have as incoming mail servers:

- Gmail for normal emails.

- Aruba for electronic invoices.

As outgoing mail servers:

- Aruba for electronic invoices.

- Sendgrid for newsletter (configured in "Email Marketing->Configuration->Settings").

We want Sendgrid to handle ONLY emails sent with newsletters, but actually it handle ALL outgoing emails (apart aruba ones). All emails that are not newsletters should be handled by Odoo mail server.

Is it possible?

  1. Go to the "Email Marketing" app in your Odoo instance.

  2. In the "Configuration" menu, select "Settings".

  3. In the "Outgoing Mail Server" section, select "Sendgrid" from the drop-down menu.

  4. In the "Advanced" tab, select "Sendgrid" as the outgoing mail server for the "newsletter" option.

  5. Save your changes.

  6. Go to "Settings" -> "Technical" -> "Email" -> "Outgoing Mail Servers"

  7. Create a new mail server and set it as the default one

  8. Go to "Settings" -> "Technical" -> "Email" -> "Templates"

  9. Edit the template that you want to use for non-newsletter emails and set the new outgoing mail server as the one to use

  10. Test sending an email using the new template to ensure it's using the correct outgoing mail server.
