Installed V8 on 14.04.01, when printing report it throws following message:
Unable to open document “file:///tmp/sale.report_saleorder-1.pdf”.
File type plain text document (text/plain) is not supported
Any help is very much appreciated.

Hello I have installed Odoo 10 in Centos7 and wkhtmltopdf ver. 0.12.1 but when tried to print some document show xxxxxx.pdf 0 bytes.
Cant help me wiht this error

Please run this command in the terminal:
sudo update-mime-database /usr/share/mime

Thanks for the answers and replies, got this error solved by upgrading the wkhtmltopdf version. Here is the reference link to update the wkhtmltopdf version

Document Viewer cannot open text files. Are you sure that the file sale.report_saleorder-1.pdf is not corrupted PDF file? Do other, correct PDF, in this location throw this error?
