Hi,

I would like to be able to register the quantity and lot number of the product being produced at the end of the production and not at the beginning.

Currently, we have 3 operations for one of our process:

MO

    |----- Operation 1 (Currently where production is registered)

    |----- Operation 2

    |----- Operation 3 (Where I would like the operator to register the qty produced)

I'm able to add a "Register Quantity" instruction on the 3rd operation, but it doesn't seem linked to the MO planned quantity. Furthermore, I do not see the option to remove the "Register Quantity" instruction from the first operation.

Is there a vanilla way to do this?

It is not possible to have a manufacturing order and operation without register manufactured qty.  (You can have operations without components, if you have another operation with components in the same manufacturing order).

You can be able to change qty during the process. (With a little trick).

But perhaps your best option is to set up multilevel manufacturing.  You do that with Operation 1 manufacture a semi finished product that is a component in the next operation - or more precise - the next manufacturing order.  Configure allowed change in consumption of components, and you should be able to control the process.

I see "register production" on all our operations. It happens to be crossed off on latter operations, but it still works when I click it. The difference may be we don't use Lot numbers.
