I currently have inventory at two locations, my warehouse and my subcontractors'.  In "Inventory" I would like the "On Hand" quantity displayed in the product list view, as well as the in the product page, to show the total quantity of my stock and my subcontractors.  Is there a way to do this?

Hey, check whether the both locations are physical type, then it will be show the entire product quantity inside the product page as on hand quantity.

In the Location settings, two locations are listed as such:

WH/Stock (parent location WH, so I assume not a physical location)
Physical Locations/Subcontracting Locations/(sub name)

I know that items with a Physical Location parent do not show up in "On Hand" as I am using this behavior intentionally for repairs. So I need to be specific about exactly which locations show up in "On Hand".

If you set location type as Internal location of the Location, then it will show the quantity as "On Hand" Quantity.

All of the Locations that I want to see inventory for are already set as an "Internal Location".

I currently have to go into Inventory>Products>(product name)>On Hand and remove the "On Hand" filter to see my subcontractor quantities.

your locations parent location is should be stock location of the your warehouse. or that location itself stock location of the your warehouse to show in on hand. Please verify this. Thank you!

Krishna Bhalala, I appreciate the help. It does not appear that Odoo will allow me to save altered Subcontractor locations. If I try to change the parent of "Physical Locations/Subcontracting Locations" to be "WH/Subcontracting Locations" I get the error "You cannot alter the company's subcontracting location". If I try to change the a specific Subcontractor location to "WH/(subcontractor name)", I get the error "In order to manage stock accurately, subcontracting locations must be type Internal, linked to the appropriate company and not specific to a warehouse."
