Hi, I'm new to Odoo.  I see there is an open source Community edition and a paid Enterprise edition.  I am interested in familiarizing myself with the Quality app and the PLM app, I see they are not part of the Community license.

My apologies if this question has been asked previously (I'm sure it has).  I searched online and on the forum but didn't see anything related to this question.

I see where a person can try one app on the Enterprise edition for free but then have to pay if you want to try other apps.  I'm curious if there is a free or temporary license for newbies/students who want to learn the features and functions hands on for the Enterprise edition?  (Please note: Bold just to highlight my question...)  Going through the brief online introductory videos for the aforementioned apps does provide some information but I learn best when I can get my hands on it.  I'd like to play around in it to get a bit more familiar.  Focusing on Odoo 16 right now.

I appreciate any information or direction forum members may have.

Thank you!

Justin

Hi,
You can start a free trial under educational version/mode.
Go to:  https://www.odoo.com/trial

Select the apps you needed and in the company name give name as edu-justin, which will give you a database which can be used for an year.

Or navigate to this link and start:  https://www.odoo.com/trial?edu

Thanks
