Good afternoon, friends,

Your support, in this case, I need to know the logic that the system does in calculating the bill of materials in the product, in version 16. This is because logic tells me that it adds up all the costs of the products that are in the bill of materials, but I see that they give me different values.

Hello,

Check the Product Category's Costing method,

  1. If it in Standard Price, then 110 would be cost for manufacturing.
  2. If it in AVCO, then cost=(Product A's cost 1+Product A's cost 2+Product A's cost 3)/3.
  3. If it in FIFO, then cost is based on Manufacturing the Product On that time.
    • If Product A is manufactured with the cost of $80 , for 2 quantity.
    • After Product A is manufactured with the cost of $110 , for 3 quantity.
    • So, After Selling the Product A with 2 quantity, then cost changes to $110.

Check and clarify your doubts.
