I need to configure internal transfer from warehouse A to warehouse B, where the users from each warehouse should be able validate their own operation. i.e, from warehouse A user should be able to validate stock out and from warehouse B user should be able to validate stock in operation. 

To achieve this by creating a transit location, what are the configurations to be done in inventory rules as well as inventory routes.


Also, is it possible to provide access rights for inventory user only to a specific warehouse.

Hi,

In Odoo, a transit location is often used as a virtual location in the context of inventory management. It represents an intermediate location where products pass through during internal transfers within the company.
 We can use this location while transferring products from the warehouse of one company to the warehouse of another company.

The transit location is standard in Odoo if you have multiple warehouses.

There's an OCA add-on: Operating unit that can help to limit access but it's not yet available for Odoo 17 - but you might be able to copy the Record Rules from there.
