How to tie a product category to an asset category

Question

I just started with Asset Management module and wondering how to set an asset categories to map to product categories automatically.
Sample process: when purchasing laptop  which is set to be a financial asset and is under Computer Hardware Product Category. After the laptop reception done, it will appear on Asset menu but it appears that the Asset Categories chosen for the laptop is the first asset category created for the system.

There is no way unless you customize. But you can create the same asset category as in products and assign this category to laptop.
