Hello Odoo Community, I want to create permissions in the Project module so that only the IT department and administrators can view and follow projects of other departments. In other departments, the Manager can create and manage projects, but only within their own department (departments cannot see each other's projects). As for Employees, they should only be able to access and manage their own assigned tasks, which are assigned by their Manager.

I tried to ask Odoo AI but seems like it not work like I want and get stuck at record rule.
Can you guys help me this.

Hi Aspirant, may I ask when create project how can I assign it into the department team belong to that project because it's seem like I can just add people into it not the department team? I'm curentlly using project and hr module.

Project - Administrator - can we all project


When creating project- are you capturing the department ?
