Hello,

Suddenly I get the following error message when I create a new company.

Incompatible companies on records: - 'Ivan Verzar' belongs to company 'Ivan Verzar' and 'Address' (partner_id: 'Ivan Verzar') belongs to another company.

I don´t know what I changed that this happens. Thank you for any help...

Do you create the company using Odoo admin user or another user?

Hi,

Just Remove the Company Value from "Ivan Verzar" Contact and check again the same scenario.

Thanks

Thank you for your feedback. I just solved the problem. I had a default set for company field in contact creation. That was the problem.

If you have installed an app that makes contacts get default company, unistall. This means the company you were already loged in is using that contact app as default. So, the new company can't no longer have a position in that same company.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

I encountered a similar error, although instead of referring to a contact, it was pointing to a workspace within the documents app where the company had been initially set up.

Although it seemed like an issue worth bringing up with support, I was pressed for time. Instead, I attempted a workaround by removing the company from the workspace mentioned in the error. Surprisingly, this resolved the issue. I then recreated the company and re-added it to the workspace, which successfully resolved the error.

I hope this information proves helpful.
