I would like to add an additional text field column inside the Detailed Operations form of the Manufacturing Order using Studio if possible. Can someone help me how to do it? Attaching a picture here for reference. I want to add the box where the arrow points.
This would my quick fix. Add the field to list view. The sub view you have in your picture is more complex to modify with studio. In fact I don't know how.
1. Open a manufacturing order in form view (as in your picture).
2. Open Studio app.
3. Click in the sub view for components, and click on the lines.
4. You will get the option to open list view or form view. Select form view. Add your field.
5. After that add the field to list view,and set the parameter to display by default or hide by default. Then it is more easy to maintain the text.
Hi Lars, thanks for your reply. My client wishes to track materials issued against the MO. He wishes to see each and every material issue transaction. How can it be done in Odoo?
Tracking usually means using lot number / serial numbers for materials. Then you have tracing report.
But if they only want to see the movements, there are several ways.
In the component list in the MO order yuo will see what is consumed.
When manufacturing order is done, you find button named Product Moves. There are all the details.
You also have a Cost Analysis report, that can be usefull.
The you can access all stock moves in the inventory app: Report-> Stock moves or Moves History where you can list and filter on all fields to make reports.
Be also aware of the setting in BOM component line, Manual Consumption. If this is flagged, the user must confirm the consumption on this component in the order. if component have tracing (Lot/ serial) it is flagged always. For components that do not have tracing, you can choose.
