Looking for the .exe installer for trunkl, but http://nightly.openerp.com/trunk/nightly/exe/ only goes up to May...?
Second, what is the progress of 8.0? What sort of time frame are we looking at for its release?

Hi,
If you are looking for the freshest copy of trunc (v8), as far as I know best way to go is runbot.openerp.com/
->launchpad.net/openobject-server/trunk for the OpenERP framework
-> launchpad.net/openobject-addons/trunk for OpenERP modules
-> launchpad.net/openerp-web/trunk for the OpenERP web interface
and use bzr to sync the latest changes locally. At least for me it works a lot better to download via bzr only the delta for last couple days, instead of re-downloading whole archive.
