When i create an event using the calendar view, the hour of this event is changed automatically (-2hours). As i'm in France it means the event is displayed @UTC time.

I have verified my user time (Europe/Paris), changed my server ntp to Europe/paris and look to the last 2 years "calendar" issues posts on this forum and found out i'm not the only one having this problem that was also in v8 & v9 but no solution are yet available in the forum.

Is it possible the event starting hour is displayed using the user hour and not UTC?

Note: only the calendar view is affected, the list view displayed the good start/end hours

Any help please...

I'm bringing one more info on the table: I just backed up my database using the database management tool Odoo provides and i observed that the filename is displaying the hour of the backup. Here too, UTC hour is use. So i guess somehow the Odoo system is configured on this timezone, i just have to find where and correct it, it should solve the issue...

in terminal, connect to your server

$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
