Dear all,

It would be great if someone could enlighten me on this. Firstly, could someone provide the instructions for uploading of company logo. Secondly, is it possible for a user with no administration access right be able to edit company data for example upload or change the company's logo? Would anyone know if permission / access settings can be given specially to a user without administration settings to edit company data. Many Thanks.

Regards,

AMDK

By default, only administrators have the right to modify company data.

To allow an user to modify company data (including the logo), it must have at least the Administration / Access Rights access right. The Administration / Settings also works as the latter imply the former.

Hi, regarding your concern about uploading your company logo, You can just simply click on the Openerp Logo, when you log in into your database, and then a window will pop out where you can change/configure all information related to your Company ex. LOGO; I hope this will help :D

Thank you for your help. Was just wondering if you would know the specific user settings to allow/limit the edit of company data.

To configure user access right just go to SETTINGS > USERS > USERS. And there you will see there the list of your System user, select a specific user and go to ACCESS RIGHT.. you can see there all the Modules/Configurations you can allow/limit the user. :)

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. Have been there just can't seem to find the company data access rights.

Unfortunatelly changing the logo only changes the header, though not the logo on the top left of the web interface.
