What version the latest Odoo now?
I was installing Odoo v.7.0 in my computer. if i want to upgrade to latest version, does it will deleting my data base i was create? How can i fix it?
And, I have Odoo v.9.0 installer from my friend. is that the latest version? But when i check to Odoo Official Download web page, that version is not yet exist. someone can explain?

from v7 to v8, the database is change too much.
if you are testing odoo, you can uninstall the v7, and remove the database too. then install the v8 and create the new database.
if you system/database is live, you will need to use some tool to upgrade it, like https://doc.therp.nl/openupgrade/modules70-80.html
or you can contact odoo to upgrade your database.
the v9 is not yet release. maybe he/she get it from https://github.com/odoo/odoo/tree/master, the developing version.
