I have several problems with the security layer of odoo. For example if the user a treeview and this treeview one record is restricted for him (due program or workflow error), for his manager restricts him from this record then the treeview will be empty and he getting a general access denied error.
But we need to debug this behavior and the log file is useless in that case, we don't have a clue about which record is triggering the access denied error.
ore "industrial" AND user friendly way is filtering out from the resultset the restricted records and showing thoose to which the user has right to read. Even more user friendly way is not triggering write access denied error for readonly records, but disabling the modify and delete actions..
1. How can i get more insight into security system through logging? I want to see exactly which record is triggering the access denied error.
2. Is there any way to disable actions based on security settings rather than triggering a write or delete error?
