[SOLVED] Access Denied - (Document type: Partner, Operation: create)

Hi everybody,

I have this error when i want to create a customer with a user that have all right possible (but it's not a user) Someone have an idea please?

Access Denied

The requested operation cannot be completed due to security restrictions. Please contact your system administrator.

(Document type: Partner, Operation: create)

PS: I use multi-company

Have you installed some custom module?

Hi Grover Menacho. Thank you for your help. Yes, but only module that was enable on the "install menu". You think it's the problem? How can I find the "defect" module?

Well I was thinking that you installed a third-party module, but if that's not the case I suggest you to try creating a new db, if the problem is still there maybe you donwloaded a version with some kind of bug.

Can you please confirm that company is assigned to the user who is creating customer ?

I try to install a new version. But If i create an user with a different company (than admin company) i have the same error. If i create an user with the same company than admin , it works.

So, just the admin can create quotation, customer with all company. For all others users, you can just use the admin company.

It really strange...it is possible to put directly on database the right for the user? I want to try. Or, is it possible to "delete" the security verification?

To try the bug:

Create 2 companies Create 2 users Manage that is possible to use multi company and multi shop (general setting and right of the user) One user with the same company than the admin One user with the other company

Try to create an quotation with the user1 (works) Try to create an quotation with the user2 (didn't works)

Hello,

The related problem has been solved and merged in stable on 09 September 2013 . Actually, if we create any new user with other than logged user company, than in newly created user it will set the logged user company so it creates problem.

You, can just change in : find newly created user in customer and from Sales & Purchases just change the Company name.

Pinakin Nayi say right. I saw this problem. You have to access the partner that log in and change company for this partner. After you did, the problem will be resolve.

i got same error, i use single company.

i have addon of openerp v7 of 26 dec. 2013.

pls help. i can't crete customer, also cant create sale order

Hello,

I installed a new Odoo Version 8.0-29e08a2 for evaluate this product.

All users have same problem (1 company, LDAP users) and users cannot create a Supplier and cannot show suppliers created by admin on the list.

If i give Admin rights on the user, he can saw and create a supplier directly from an article(item). If he don't have "ADMINISTRATOR" rights, he cannot saw in the list or add it.

Looks like latest odoo requires users to be in the same email domain as the admin or the rights don't work properly.  Setup all users with same @yourcompany.com or you will run into rights issues.
