Friends,

Am facing a terrible server performance issue which takes alteast 10 seconds for each click on the UI and some times more than that if the data is huge in the forms. I had 8 gb free space in my amazon server when in started with OpenERP and postgres. Every thing works fine for a month, Then server started responding slow gradually and reached a point where UI load as the 8Gb Space got fully consumed. It was primarily due to the server log files which gets accumulated from day 1. What is the real significance of these server logs in real time ?. If there is no much significance shall we remove these files and optimize it for past 1 or 2 days instead of huge volume there? I also found that OE uses browse funtion instead of read which takes lot of time to fetch a value from the target location. Is it advisable to alter in the code ? Will there be any effects ? Did some one tried these ?

Hoping for an expert answer asap as we are near in production db.

Thanks in advance!
