Reports designing in Odoo 9
I looked in the internet for a way to design reports for Odoo9, I found openoffice module and aeroo reports as the better solutions, but there are not compatible with Odoo 9.
Is there any way to design reports in Odoo9 without using the Qweb templates, I which I could use a .doc file or .odt as template if it's possible?
Hi soft,
At the moment there aren't a lot of options to visually build a report. I've personally migrated Aeroo from V8 to V9 in order to be able to work with Aeroo. You can find it here: https://github.com/Yenthe666/aeroo_reports
With Aeroo you can ude the .odt files and create reports visually.
The openoffice module is deprecated so you shouldn't really use that anymore, it is a very old implementation.
Short conclusion: the only visual way to create reports at the moment is with Aeroo.
Regards,
Yenthe
