project_long_term module is not available in the Github odoo8 package. Why?

It is no more supported by the Odoo Officially since version 8.0 but still you can get it from the extra addons branch at https://code.launchpad.net/~openerp-community/openerp-extra/8.0-project_long_term
Thanks Mantavya. But i just want to kown what is the reasons of this decision. Odoo team didn't want us to plannify the procjet and tasks.
