I've been having some trouble with configuring the outgoing mail server for an Odoo v8 instance currently hosted on a cloud server(Ubuntu OS). I have however successfully configured the incoming email gateway and tested it with positive results.
My configuration parameters for the outgoing mail are:
Description: company name
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Port: 465
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
However every time i try to test the connection i get a warning:
Connection Test Failed! Here is what we got instead: 101 Network is unreachable
What could i be doing wrong? The incoming gate way is working fine
