In the current system only admin can view & edit employee details. How can we make an employee can edit his own details and view other employee details.
You can achieve this by changing the access control settings:
Go to Settings > Security > Access Control Lists
Create a new row, give the row a name like "Universal read access for employee object", specify the object as Employee, then check the "Read" checkbox
This should achieve what you are trying to do
