The $25 was a contribution to an indiegogo campaign to fund development.
For $25 the 'tangible' pieces were the book and a theme, but it was disclosed that the main purpose for the money was to fund development.

yes, that was seemingly released to the public a week or two later from what I can tell (although I may be wrong about this). It is a bit of a let-down for me, as I had been waiting quite a while for someone to explain the theme development concepts in detail, but apparently is still in active development. I sincerely hope it matures to cover some more in-depth topics soon.

Yes, I was none too impressed with the book, or the fact that it was basically then given away free virtually immediately.
