Hello, I been using Odoo 8 for a while for small projects. I am interested in upgrading but I see there are lots of limitations in the Community edition of Odoo 9.

My main concerns are the "Restaurant Map" module to create tables/etc, and the UI.

Also, will there be anything I can currently do with Odoo 8 which I won't be able to do with Odoo 9? Are there community efforts to try to make the Community version of Odoo similar to the enterprise edition?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Table management is included in the community edition of 9.0. All the core functionalities of 8.0 are also available in 9.0, as far as I have seen already. There are many community efforts to improve 9.0 community edition. The UI in the community version is slightly better than the UI of version 8.0, but of course it is not the same as the one from the enterprise version.

Thanks, I will see how hard it is to upgrade and give it a try.

Check for the openupgrade project, if you want to upgrade. And, by the way, thanking in this forum means upvoting the answer and checking the "Answerded" icon :-)
