We are implementing Odoo 8 for our Wholesale Food Distribution company. Is there any case studies or examples that we can follow? I can't find any... Additionally, we are in desperate need to set up the eCommerce section to allow the restaurants to order online. We will need it to be a private section that doesn't have standard pricing. We will need the pricing to follow the pricing rules that their account follows in the main system area. Tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 ect. Or if we have discounted box "a" for them, we need that discount to follow them to the online section as well. We would like that area to have a section that would allow them to check previous orders and possibly see past invoices that we have scanned in with signatures. There are a lot of options available ready made but we really like the funcationality of Odoo and want to find a way for this to work.
We would really like to set up the register section for our salesmen to use via ipads with the customers to input orders. Don't know if that's possible. Is there a way to setup the eCommerce section for private B2B interactions? We would need it to support the customer ordering, reordering products to be distributed but we would need the system to follow their pricing rules/ structure from the main system.
We are really wanting to use http://necs.com/orderpad/ as the guide for what we would like to implement. If anyone is able to functionally provide this, please inbox me and we can discuss further. We need both tablet and desktop ordering for customers.
Your all requirements are possible with ODOO-8
As biju suggest you can go for 3 modules
>Pricelist- (needs some configuration)
>odoo e-commerce(website module)- (confihuration plus customisation)
>odoo is portable via ipads and smart phones..
>B2B trsactions that also under pricelists...

From this brief description of your requirements, I find that it is possible with ODOO...
But if you are looking for an ERP implementation for your business this information is not enough for a detailed evaluation.
For the correct implementation of ERP, you need to have a detailed discussions and identify what you exactly need to have. Only through systematic process you can implement ERP successfully.
From the details above it seems like feasible, currently ODOO 8 have e-commerce integrated with it. And we can give price-list for suppliers and customers(as group and individual). We can access ODOO from any device that have a web browser. We can customize POS for Sale options. Only thing you need to do is to customize it to suit your business need.
