Are there any instructions available for porting a module from v7 to v8, or version-agnostic?

Have you seen http://www.slideshare.net/mustufarangwala/odoo-from-70-to-80-api

There is a large amount of interoperability between v7 and v8 but the slides have some suggestions on what you do need to be aware of.

Thanks, Ray!
