I have had a problem whereby my stock count & valuation was not updating on sales.  I now know that it was due do my using the wrong invoicing route (not using "sales order").

Now, to prepare my year end accounts I need to correct the stock valuation so I thought it would be simple my making stock adjustments through products > inventory > quantity on hand > update.  Not so, I have tried it & the quantity on hand changes but the stock valuation does not!

There must be a way to stock adjustments which reflect the correct valuation as well as quantity but I have been unable to find it.  Help please!!

HI You can try "Improved Quants Management System" by ERP Management Sp. z o.o. which is available on odoo Apps. This module corrects many problems with stock valuation existing in Odoo 10.

Hi Geoff,

Odoo Inventory valuation report is very basic. It just takes the Quantity on Hand and multiplies it by Cost prices defined in Product settings.

So if you want to change the Value when your stock on hand is okay, go to Product and change the cost price.
