Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
I would like to add some text near the search bar on the top part of Odoo/OpenERP (between the top menu and the classical form). The text would be something like: Search for the client, or search for the quotation...
But I have not a clue where I can find the files to modify or overwrite.
If someone can help me, it will be really great :-).
Likely you will have to do this with CSS, but having a different text per page will take some effort.
Take a look at https://www.odoo.com/apps/modules/8.0/web_searchbar_full_width/ for an example module that customizes (makes wider) the search box.
Thank you for your answer.
I think it will be too demanding and time consuming for the result. I will probably do just a static text like: Research Bar.
In order to do it, Need I to modify some css? the process.css?
I have to admit that I don't understand so well how it is working with css.
Why it is not manage like for the rest? View in xml and code in python?
