How to install,run and configure multiple versions of Odoo in same machine(Ubuntu)(odoo V* & V9) ?

Finally I am able to run multiple versions of odoo on same machine Running Odoo 8 and Odoo 9 at the same time on different porrts

Please specify what your particular problem is. You can install multiple versions of Odoo on one server using multiple ports.

Please edit your question, amend the error log and make it readable.

It would also be helpful to specify your installation, i.e. paths to the executables, config files and addons directories. Most probably you are executing odoo with the wrong addons directory.

@ Ermin ...Thanks a lot .....finally i got my problem resolved .............. I was not talking about the multiple instances but the multiple versions..so just by using the different ports we can't run different versions on same machine..something more than that is needed..Anyway thanks a lot for the response
