Hi, neewbie question,
How do we install a community app?
I am responsible for finding a new CRM/ERP system with basic invoicing for our SME company.
I am using the trial mode of OpenERP. There is an app debit_credit_note available for download from the 'community' which I would like to try & see if it works. I have downloaded the zip file, but how do I add it to the apps in OpenERP?
Using 7.0. I have tried searching for user guide on this, but haven't found anything obvious. Some complicated server / ubuntu type of answers, but no step by step instructions.

If you are running the saas / online version: you can't. Because they do not allow access or uploading modules.
If you run your own server: find out where your addons directory is and unzip your module there. Usually in c:\program files\openerp (x86\openerp-<date>\server\server\addons for windows. In Linux depends on how you installed it. Locate openerp-server.conf and search for the addons_path.
