I have my company email addresses which I would like to configure it to my ERP it is like email@example.com for general information firstname.lastname@example.org for reporting to clients Finance@company.af is like for financial proposes and it has configuration details for outlook as follows like mail.company.af for Incoming and Outgoing servers but when I did all configuration exactly like Outlook it doesn't work and it says connection problem error 2. can anyone please give me the full solution how to configure all email facilities in openerp?
1.Install the module âemail_templateâ.
2.Configure Outgoing Mail Servers
3.Go to Settings -> Technical -> Email -> Outgoing Mail servers
a. Description: Description about the mail server to be configured. b. SMTP Server: Hostname or IP of SMTP server For example smtp.gmail.com c. Connection Security: Select SSL/TLS from the drop down list. Sessions are encrypted with SSL/TLS through a dedicated port (default: 465) d. Username: Username for SMTP authentication. For example: email@example.com e. Password: Password for SMTP authentication. For example: password for firstname.lastname@example.org f. Test the connection status by clicking âTest Connectionâ button.
