How do you use those code blocks in this editor?

If I want to paste code, it will always mess up and apply the layout to the text. I've seen people use code blocks and seen them edit my posts to add code blocks; but I can't for the life of me figure out how to use them myself. Could someone please indulge me and put me out of my misery?

How do I use this feauture:

**__init__.py**
import crm
