Please I just install odoo 8 all in one an after the installation is finish and the software is launch, I get this message: "The requested URL was not found on the server. If you entered the URL manually please check your spelling and try again" . even I change to openerp 7 the problem is the same. I don't know if there is something I forget to do
If you installed odoo in ubuntu, You have to start odoo server, for that you need to do:-
Take terminal ctrl+alt+T
go to installed odoo folder: normally - > cd /opt/odoo
then type comment : python odoo.py
this will start server and now you can go to browser and type-> localhost:8069

Can you try http://localhost:8069 only? If the address box in the browser selected the complete address for you again, just delete the remaining characters and press Ctrl + Enter.
