Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
I have set-up the full system and it correctly creates a purchase order upon confirmation of the sales order. The only issue I have is that I need to update the purchase order manually as the field customer is not filled in automatically. I have not found the way to specify this at sales order entry.
