Every time I try to create a many to many relationship between two simple models I get this error.

I have version 7.0-20130828-231133 running on Windows 2008 R2.

The issue was not the new field that I was creating but an existing Many to Many field that wasn't created properly.

I only found this as a trial and error on new test models which the creation of the Many to Many fields were working just fine. I also was unable to create even the most basic new fields on the model that was producing this error.

OpenERP seems to be working fine now but wish that the error handling and messaging would be more helpful.

Spot on, had a relationship field that generated this error. Thanks for the advice!
