I'm confused with the delivery cost being handled differently in Odoo 10.0.

How is it working? There are many variable:

  1. The sale rep enter the sale order in the system, a delivery method is selected and he has the option to click on "Set Price" to add the delivery cost in the sale order.

  2. The warehouse user has the option to change the delivery method at shipping time.

If "Set Price" isn't clicked, no delivery cost will be charge! Whatever the warehouse user select at delivery time. And if "Set Price" is clicked, the price isn't re-adjusted when the warehouse user choice a different carrier/delivery method. I guess that's logical in regular sale scenario. The customer should not expect the price to change after he received a quote, or made placed an order on the website.

Is there a way, option wize, to invoice the real delivery cost selected at shipping time?

I think a clear explanation of how it works in Odoo 9.0 and 10.0 would benefit many Odoo users/developers.
