I know that, by seeing subject, you may think this is a duplicate question.  But actually not.

Go to Accounting / Configuration / Financial Reports/Account Reports.

For each report, open it and change "Sign on Reports" to "Reverse balance sign" and then the reports will display intuitively.

When I put "Reverse balance sign", it is coming good in reports, such as GL, BS ans P/L reports.

However, it is showing negative income when I open "Chart of Accounts" (Accounting -> Chart of Accounts).  Here the debit is 1000 and credit is 2000.  As per my knowledge, credit - debit = balance.  So, my income should be 1000.  However it is showing "-1000", since it is calculating debit - credit.

don't know how to fix.  Can some one help me please.

Debit-Credit=Balance. This is a common/accepted practice in Accounting.

@Zura, In india it will be calculated as Credit-Debit = Balance. Can you guide me where I can change this to fit to me?
