Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
Automatic email notifications are always sent by the super administrator account as author.
Ex. : sales order confirmation from ecommerce.
In case of a multi company / multi ecommerce configuration, even though the administrator can access multiple companies, he is always linked to one of the available companies.
This company name will then appear in the email header “Sent by company_name using Odoo”.
This is a problem as one can place an order on company#1 website and receive an email with “Sent by company#2” if the administrator’s current company is company#2…
Is there a workaround to solve the issue?
A solution would be to get the notifications sent by the contact salesperson instead of the administrator or to use the contact company name instead of the administrator company name.
