Is it possible to integrate Openerp messaging with a personal gmail account?

Or is it any other way to integrate a personal gmail account in openerp database.

Sure you can use a gmail account. How you want to use it?

Create a new Record by clicking on create button and enter the below values
Name: Gmail Incoming Gateway
Server Type: IMAP Server
Server Name: imap.gmail.com
Select SSL/TLS check box
Username: username@gmail.com
Password: password
You can also Perform some actions on the section "Actions to Perform on Incoming Mails"
Save the record and click on Test & Confirm

Then how to restrict my personal gmail inbox from other users in the openerp database
