Hello,

I know that it is possible that after clicking a button, a popup window appears showing a form view. 

But is the same possible with a Popup that displays a list view?

Hi,

It is possible to show pop up window for tree view just like we call wizards by changing view_mode to tree

try this

<act_window id="launch_bankbook_wizard"
            name="Name of View"
            res_model="model.name"
            view_mode="tree"
            target="new"
            key2="client_action_multi"/>
