Do we know when OpenERP 7.1 will be around ? Just finiseh migrating from 6.1 to 7.0, so going to 7.1 soon could be an option...

There will not be a v7.1 as we have stopped releasing intermediary major releases (between LTSs) for maintenance reasons. The intermediary versions are SaaS releases available for SaaS users. Those will converge towards v8. V8 should be released in Q2 2014.
for v8, will that be easy transition from v7?
