I was working on OpenErp as i do usually but suddenly noticed that my module menu disappeared completely and i tried to reload, changed my preferences from extended to simplified and back to extended. I tried updating my base module also I replaced it with my previously created backup base folder but nothing seems working. I have to update my modules to carry on my work but I am stuck and don't understand what to do. Please help!

ok if you did all things
then just one thing you need to do just go settings-->user interface --> menu items
search your menu name "module"
check all the model access for that menu and remove all the group from that menu if added , then it will work for globally
it will be work fine then
Thanks
Sandeep
correct but i had to change the sequence number.
my sub menu is not appearing, what to do??/
Answer of Sandeep is correct. But once you know the group name. You could also go to the Settings->Users & Companies->Groups (developer mode enabled). Search on the group name (the group which is connected to this menu item), and validate that your user is part of the group.
You may want to add another group to the inherited list (see inherited tab). That why, new users to lets say the emlyoeen group will be automatically be added to your group that currently used by this module menu item(s).
