Hello,

I want to install a fresh version of odoo enterprise v14 on my development server, and I was used to do that by cloning the github repos https://github\.com/odoo/odoo\ and \ https://github\.com/odoo/enterprise\.

But\ now,\ the\ install\ documentation\ \(https://www\.odoo\.com/documentation/15\.0/administration/install/install\.html\#id7\)\ proposes\ another\ way\ to\ download\ the\ source,

and\ https://github.com/odoo/enterprise returns a "404" error (even if I'm connected to github with my odoo.sh partner identifier)

Does https://github.com/odoo/enterprise still exist ?

Can I have access to the enterprise repo, please?

If you pay for the Enterprise version you should have access to the Enterprise GitHub as standard.

Hi,

Enterprise repository is still exists and it is accessible for the users who has access to it. In your case, you might not have access to this repository, thus it returns 404.

If you need to access to enterprise code, as you are odoo partner, open the partner dashboard from your odoo.com account, and add your github user in the section to access to enterprise repository.

Once you add your username here, you will receive invitation to join the repository.

If you are end user and need to download the code, you can download using the subscription code from this page:  https://www.odoo.com/page/download

Thanks

ok, thanks

Hi, So do I have to become a partner to access it?
Or it is enough to be an enterprise client. Cause as an enterprise client we do not have access to the code despite paying for the license.
It's very confusing.

@Grzegorz Goraj : look at my answer below : "2 - be a client of Odoo enterprise with an "activation code" and you can download the source code with enterprise included from here : https://www.odoo.com/page/download."

@Herve we have the licence and no, we can not access the code via https://www.odoo.com/page/download. It says that the site doesn't exist.

@Grzegorz Goraj : You are right. Try this one : https://www.odoo.com/en_US/page/download, it works better

Why there is no posiibility to access a github for enterprise users? Its a little bit weird. Partnership costs a lot, since 4 years I am begging myself for monthly subscription for it, still nothing changed here. Please, start to Odoo to make more flexible for developers.

There are several posts on this subject and I know it is not very clear in the documentation but, as far as I know, you have 2 solutions :

1 - be an Odoo partner (event learning partner, 590€/year for France) and you can then read https://github.com/odoo/enterprise

2 - be a client of Odoo enterprise with an "activation code" and you can download the source code with enterprise included from here : https://www.odoo.com/page/download.

I don't know any other solution.

Yes ... it totally sucks ... basically they offer you 'on premise' odoo option. But you have to go download the updated code manually ? Which is ...

Agree. Github access should be included. But I think it's made on purpose. Being a self learning developer in Odoo is very often frustrating when you want to have access to Enterprise. To work comfortably, You you need to pay 490-590Euro minimum for learning partnership (depending on the country), namely, just to have only access to github code. Then every 30th day need to paste your subscription code, to activate your enterpise dev odoo environment to work with.

Since few years I was asking Odoo guys, please introduce monthly subscription also for Partners. Will be more flexible. I don't need the access every month. So far - Nope, still nothing changed. Still only single payment. Regular partneship is costing few thousands Euro / year minimum. So, what is the problem to make monthly subscription here? We never will know that. We just need to pay, or cancel. Once a year. Hope this will change and improve some day. But with every next year I doubt it more and more.

Anyway, Greetings and Thanks Herve, for your clear explanation on this matter.

Yes of course, it is available for all Odoo version at the same place in github. But to access to it you must be a partner or customer of Odoo, otherwize you get the "404" error

I am a customer, I bought licenses recently but when I enter that section it says that it is only for partners
