Dear all,

I'm using PLM and Manufacturing module.

In the Manufacturing module, users can actually edit the BOM directly, without going through PLM process. Hence this creates a loop hole in the process.

What I want i do :

1. Disable the edit button if user access the BOM (mrp.bom.form) directly.

2. Only enable Edit Button if users access from PLM (revision widget).

I've try to add edit="0" in the mrp.bom.form, but it will completely disable the edit button in everywhere.

Please help.

This is a change in V16 for all masterdata.  I myself higly disagree with Odoo in this change:  When opening a record in any masterdata, you get directly into edit mode.  This can cause change in masterdata by mistake. If masterdata is not controlled properly, business process are likely to fail.  You need the edit button, so you are fully aware when you access Edit.

There is an app made by Cybrosys that give you back the Edit button in all masterdata. It is free of charge.
